Rooms That Remember
2026

Rooms That Remember explores grief through the spaces people leave behind and the spaces we move through afterwards. This series includes photos of my late grandad’s house, my uncles house- where I’m currently living- and the house we’re building to move closer to my grandma. Together these spaces reflect on absence, transition and the emotional weight that is held within personal spaces.

This work looks at traces of human presence within objects and domestic interiors to see how memories can linger within a space long after someone has gone. Each house photographed within this series represents a different stage of grief- loss, displacement and the process of rebuilding.
